A professor at Berklee College of Music since 1982, Skip has created groundbreaking courses on fusion, jazz, funk, and world drumming, shaping the next generation of drummers. He authored four influential books, including World Fusion Drumming, and his writings are integral to Berklee's percussion curriculum. ⁣

As a Yamaha, Zildjian, Evans, Vic Firth, and LP Percussion artist, Skip has shared his expertise globally through workshops and seminars, inspiring drummers worldwide.

a Grammy-winning drummer, composer, and educator with a career spanning over 50 countries, 300 cities, and performances at some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals, including Carnegie Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Tokyo Jazz Festival.
